Group Bookings

Our opening times are:
Easter to October: 10:00 - 17:00 (last admission 16:00)
November to April: 11:00 - 16:00 (last admission 15:00)

Early morning and evening visits can be arranged by appointment.
The museum is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day

and 17 - 23 January 2011 for essential maintenance

Group admission prices (minimum of 10 people):
Adults £4.75
Senior Citizens £3.75
Children (5 - 15) £2.75
Group Organiser and Coach Driver are admitted free of charge.

Evening visits require a minimum of 20 people. To qualify for a group rate the group organiser must make one transaction to the receptionist upon arrival.
We are pleased to accept payment by Cash, Cheque, Visa or Mastercard. You can also arrange to pay by invoice.

We recommend that groups book their visit in advance. This enables you to guarantee your required time for admission to the museum. It is also possible to arrange early ticket collection, to enable your group to explore Thirsk before taking up their appointment with the vet. All bookings need to be confirmed in writing at least two weeks prior to the visit.

Due to parking restrictions, coaches are unable to drop their passengers anywhere on Kirkgate. However coach parking is free and available for four hours in the Millgate car park - only 350 yards from The World of James Herriot.
